You can also travel through the ages with the architecture of the surrounding medieval villages and châteaux.

For those who like to treat their taste buds, there are two famous markets nearby: Villeréal every Saturday morning and Issigeac, voted the most beautiful market in the Dordogne, just 15 kilometres from Villeréal. There are also gourmet markets on Monday evenings in the market hall and on Thursday evenings in Issigeac (only during the summer months), where you can sample traditional regional produce in a festive atmosphere.
