We answer your questions

Before booking

How do I book the estate?

To make a booking, please visit the “Booking” section of our website (www.gite-luxe.com ), select your stay dates on the calendar and the number of nights. You can then fill in your details, choose any optional extras if desired, and click “Send”. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions and tick the box to confirm your agreement.

Is a deposit required? What payment methods are accepted?

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 8 months before your stay. We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, cash, cheque and holiday vouchers.

What is included in the rental price?

  • Access to the cottage, wellness area and grounds
  • Beds made upon arrival
  • Household linen
  • End-of-stay cleaning

The reception hall, rotunda, massage room and seminar room are optional extras outside the summer season.

Is the tourist tax included?

No, it must be paid on-site depending on the number of guests, nights and current rates. Please contact us for an exact amount.

Rental includes (summary):

  • Accommodation for up to 38 guests (12 bedrooms, 26 beds)
  • Beds made on arrival
  • Household linen
  • Free access to leisure and wellness facilities (pools, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, bar lounge, gym, etc.)
  • End-of-stay cleaning

What is the security deposit? When is it released?

A €200 deposit is required upon arrival for group cottages (€600 for the Villereal cottage).
It is automatically released after one month if no damage is reported. Otherwise, we will inform you and deduct the relevant amount.

Is the reception hall and the rotunda included?

Included during the summer season only.
Outside this period:

  • Reception hall: €3,500
  • Rotunda: €300

Arrival time

Check-in is between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Early arrival is not possible unless you book the “early check-in” option (11:00 am) for €600, subject to availability and requested at least 3 weeks in advance.

Departure time

Late departure may be arranged under the same conditions as early arrival (subject to availability, requested at least 3 weeks in advance).

For children

Are the swimming pools secure?

The indoor pool has a safety cover. The outdoor pool is accessible only via glass doors, which can be locked.

Is the pond secure?

Yes, it is enclosed with a wooden fence and mesh.

How many chairs are in the rotunda?

100 outdoor chairs are available. They remain outside and may show signs of natural wear due to the wooded environment.

Is the rotunda equipped with electricity and lighting?

Yes, it is lit and includes three power outlets.

Is there a curfew for DJs?

No curfew, but we ask that windows and doors of the reception hall are closed from midnight to limit noise.

Are confetti allowed?

Indoors: yes. Outdoors: no, due to cleaning constraints.

Baby equipment available?

Yes: 2 high chairs and 2 baby cots (please request in advance).

Is there a children’s room?

No dedicated children’s room is available.

Preparing your stay

Are basic essentials provided?

No. A toilet roll is provided in each bathroom, but we recommend bringing additional supplies (toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, bin bags, soaps, condiments, etc.).
An optional “essentials pack” is available (see practical information file).

When should options be booked?

As early as possible, and up to 1 month before arrival, subject to availability.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Yes, all kitchens include tableware for the maximum number of guests.

Can I walk to shops?

No, the estate is in the countryside. The nearest supermarkets are about 10 km away.

Beer dispenser – what is needed?

Compatible with 6L PerfectDraft kegs.

Is the cottage air-conditioned?

Yes, most rooms have reversible air conditioning. Others have radiators.
The reception hall and wellness area are not air-conditioned.

Is there a barbecue and plancha?

Yes. Both are mobile and must be cleaned after use.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, though coverage may vary across rooms.

Are parasols available?

Yes, three are available.

Can the wellness area be accessed without booking the estate?

No, it is exclusively reserved for guests staying at Luxury Cottage

Is spa access unlimited?

Yes, there are no opening or closing hours.

Are bicycles available?

Yes, 8 bicycles with helmets are available.

Is the estate secure?

Yes, access is controlled via a gated entrance with keypad.

Are the pools heated?

The indoor pool is heated. The outdoor pool is not (seasonal use).

Are there waste disposal facilities?

Yes. Guests are required to dispose of rubbish in designated containers and sort waste accordingly.

Are pool towels provided?

No, please bring your own.

Is catering imposed?

No, but we can recommend trusted local caterers for all budgets.

Catering kitchen equipment – is it professional?

No, it includes a fridge, freezer and sink (no cooking equipment).
There are two three-phase power outlets (one inside, one outside).

Do you provide supplier contacts?

Yes, we can recommend trusted professionals familiar with the estate.
Delivery and collection must take place during your stay.

Reception hall seating

190 indoor chairs are available and must remain inside. Excess chairs can be stored in the cloakroom.

Table linen provided?

No.

Corkage fee?

No corkage fee applies.

Can tables be moved?

Yes, within the reception hall only. They must be returned to their original position.
Tables are heavy and cannot be moved outdoors.

Are fireworks or lantern releases allowed?

No, due to fire risk.
